設置理念

本案以「藝術加工•淬礪未來」為主題，標示「加工出口區」不斷翻新、蛻變的現在進行式。由此，結合本基地深厚的人文底蘊、產業轉型的新氣象，以及創意與美感兼具的藝術創作，提出「凝鍊園區視覺美感」、「強化人文意象」、「形塑產業轉型新氣象」、「文化地域鏈結」等四大理念。

 

The theme of this project is “Artistic Processing, Tempering the Future,” signifying the continuous innovation and transformation of the Processing Export Zone in the present tense. Combining the profound cultural heritage of this site, the new atmosphere of industrial transformation, and artistic creations that embody creativity and aesthetics, it proposes four major concepts: “Cultivating Visual Aesthetics in the Processing Export Zone,” “Enhancing Humanistic Imagery,” “Shaping a New Atmosphere for Industrial Transformation,” and “Cultural Regional Linkages.”

創作理念

位於第一出入口崗哨周邊戶外綠地、由胡棟民老師創作的《同心構築》，創作者以三個色系的組件分別代表以來往於此的工作人員、在地園區、產業經濟，將三者代表環繞成圓，意圖示意一同塑造、展望永續經營的未來。作品各組件造型也如同人們敞開的雙臂，組件的組合如手牽手般牽引彼此、相互對话，共同構築此場域中溫暖而細膩的光景。白色不鏽鋼材質代表在此勞動的人們，汗水及匆促的身影構成前鎮科技園區的美麗日常風景，亦是他們帶領高雄與臺灣的產業趨勢與變化。亮面及霧面相間的不銹鋼組件，則反應園區歷經不斷的翻新、沿革，而成現在的的創新期，成就出全面性而多元化的未來。特別的是，作品中象徵場域與能量的綠色組件，是以銅染綠方式呈現，該綠色會隨著時間流逝，色調會逐漸趨於幽暗，象徵的是園區經歷時間淬鍊後，沉積的歷史及文化底蘊，也藉由材質本身的特性，隨著時間產生色澤變化，象徵著在此土地上的各種生機與生命力化為無限可能性。

 

The artwork “Constructing in Unity” created by Professor Hu Dongmin, is situated around the first entrance guard post, in the outdoor green area. The artist uses three color themes to represent the personnel working in this area, the local park, and the industrial economy. These three components encircle each other in a circle, symbolizing the collaborative effort to shape and envision a sustainable future.

The shapes of the components in the artwork resemble open arms, symbolizing cooperation and dialogue among individuals, as they come together to construct a warm and intricate scene in this space. The use of white stainless steel materials represents the laborers in this area, with their sweat and hurried movements contributing to the everyday beauty of the Kaohsiung Science Park. They also lead the trends and changes in Kaohsiung and Taiwan’s industrial landscape.

The stainless steel components, with a mix of polished and matte surfaces, reflect the park’s continuous renovation and evolution, resulting in its present innovative phase and a comprehensive and diversified future.

Notably, the green components in the artwork, symbolizing the site and its energy, are presented using a copper patina technique. This green color will change over time, gradually becoming darker. It symbolizes the historical and cultural heritage accumulated by the park over time and reflects the various vitality and possibilities of life and energy on this land, as the material itself changes with time.

創作理念

大理石作品《逸》，該作品同樣由胡棟民老師創作，造型以種子的新生為發想，將幼苗成長的形態轉化為抽象簡約且有機的外型，表現在質感溫潤的石材上，自由伸展而柔軟的律動，也帶給場域新穎的清新氣息，衍伸為一地收穫豐饒的意涵。經由不同石材拼組、色彩的碰撞下，在賦予作品趣味之餘，也凸顯自然石材紋理的流動。作品兩側的石塊亦可作為街道家俱座椅，供民眾於此處短暫休憩，也拉近人們去觸碰、欣賞作品的距離。該設置點正好面對路口對面便利商店，圓潤的造型對照商店前設置的方稜石製地標型作品，兩者作品間動與靜、銳利與飽滿、鋒利與潤澤間的對比與相互呼應，呈現的是對基地空間的思考及環境整體性的考量。

 

The marble artwork “unrestrained,” also created by Professor Hu Dongmin, is inspired by the concept of new life from seeds. It transforms the growth of young seedlings into an abstract, minimalist, and organic form, expressed on the smooth and warm texture of marble. The sculpture embodies a sense of freedom, stretching and flowing softly, bringing a fresh and novel atmosphere to the location and symbolizing a bountiful harvest.

Through the combination of different types of stones and the collision of colors, the artwork not only adds an element of fun but also highlights the flowing texture of natural stone. The stones on both sides of the artwork can also serve as street furniture seating for people to take a short break, bridging the gap between people and the artwork, allowing them to touch and appreciate it up close.

This installation is conveniently located facing a convenience store across the street. The rounded shape of the artwork contrasts with the angular stone landmark installation in front of the store. The juxtaposition of these two artworks, with their contrasting qualities of movement and stillness, sharpness and fullness, and sleekness and luster, reflects thoughtful consideration of the site’s space and the overall environment.

創作理念

作品《同心共舞》三組件街道家俱，三組件個別以女工意象、舞姿韻律及鳥兒造型表現。組件一為盤於雲朵上的女子，象徵著園區的重要基石-女工，陪伴園區一同累積數十年載的歲月，浮雲翱翔的元素搭配富有起伏線條感的座椅，讚揚的是女工為園區、為臺灣的經濟產業所付出的辛勞及貢獻。組件二的女孩旋轉著時光的舞步，輕盈的步伐與曼妙的身姿，表現的是不停運轉的生產力，富有動態的表現對應著產業蓬勃的發展，也期待在從業人才們不懈的供給之下，為園區舞出美好的未來。組件三則以鳥為發想，經由鳥兒帶來和平與繁榮的安定意念，展現永續經營的理念。

 

The artwork “Dancing in Unity” consists of three street furniture components, each representing different imagery and symbolism.

The first component features a woman seated on a cloud, symbolizing the crucial foundation of the park—female workers. She has been accompanying the park throughout the decades, and the elements of floating clouds combined with the undulating lines of the seat pay tribute to the hard work and contributions of female workers to the park and Taiwan’s economic industries.

The second component portrays a girl who dances through the passage of time with graceful steps and a charming posture. This represents the ever-turning productivity, with her dynamic performance corresponding to the thriving development of the industry. It also anticipates a bright future for the park with the unwavering dedication of its workforce.

The third component draws inspiration from birds, symbolizing the idea of peace, prosperity, and stability brought by these creatures. It reflects the concept of sustainable operations.

Together, these components convey the story and philosophy of the park, emphasizing the importance of collaboration, continuous growth, and unity.
